Treaty of Waitangi (Te Tiriti O Waitangi)
The Treaty of Waitangi (Te Tiriti O Waitangi) is the founding document of New Zealand. NZCCM addresses the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi through:
Tinorangatiratanga
Providing opportunities for our Students, Tauira, to develop individual career pathway plans, guided by our staff. And by providing learning options for Students, Tauira, to achieve their desired goals.
The College is committed to working with the 3 guiding principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
-
Partnership As providers we see our relationship with students, staff and patients as the most important element of what we do. We recognise our mutual dependence and aim to work with you to develop win-win outcomes
-
Participation We invite our service users to participate in the development of our activities and direction by inviting and responding to feedback from users – students, staff and patients.
-
Protection We are guided by macrocosmic systems which ensure that your rights to privacy, quality, service, financial security and physical safety are vigorously monitored and maintained.
