The Chrischurch campus has moved to its new premises in the Christchurch CBD (central business district):

183 Montreal Street, Christchurch Central

We officially opened our doors in the new location 22 July 2010. The new campus has spacious classrooms, a library, a student lunchroom, several clinic rooms and good general facilities including student lockers. Parking is provided for students, but limited. This established location provides a relaxed, well resourced setting for study and treatment.

Features

• The clinic rooms at both campuses (and the pharmacy which provides herbs) operate within the college, meaning that students come into regular contact with private patients and clients.

Facilities
NZCCM provides a range of academic materials including audio and video facilities. There are seventeen clinical practice rooms at the Auckland campus, and six clinical practice rooms at the Christchurch campus. There is a Chinese medicine pharmacy at both branches.

Both campuses also have a library, internal and courtyard lunch areas with tea and coffee making facilities, and a microwave. In addition, both campuses provide a computer suite that offers students Internet and e-mail access.

The History of The Christchurch Branch:

The Christchurch branch of New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine was opened as the Christchurch College of Holistic Healing in 1999, to deliver 21^st century health care education. In September 2006 we combined with the Auckland College of Natural Medicine to become the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM). The main offering of the Christchurch branch of NZCCM is an integrated acupuncture training programme with equal emphasis on all levels of healing – body, mind and spirit.  Our experienced teaching staff have many years of clinical experience as foundation for their offerings as trainers.  Our focus is to create a supportive student environment and graduate the best quality beginner-level practitioners who are prepared for wide world success.

We became the Christchurch branch of New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine in 2006 - previously known as Christchurch College of Holistic Healing. We have just moved from 203 Montreal Street, opposite Latimer Square, where we opened our doors on July 21, 2008.
