NZCCM is obliged to protect your fees while you study with us. NZQA require this in case NZCCM is unable to deliver courses for any reason. NZCCM has a Fee Protect contract with Public Trust, which is a government owned trustee company that has been operating for 130 years. Your fees are paid directly into a Public Trust account by NZCCM, or you we prefer you to pay them directly to Public Trust, or for Studylink to pay your Student Loan directly to the Public Trust. The Public Trust then pay NZCCM each month of your course to ensure that the balance of your fees is kept safe in the trust account. NZCCM must provide you with a Public Trust "Fee Protect" application form and can help you to complete it and send it to the Public Trust. If you want more information, please go to the Public Trust website or phone them on 0800 494 733.
