'Wellness Day': Christchurch
Christchurch 'Wellness Day' are usually from 1pm until 4pm, and the doors are open to anyone and everyone who wishes to learn more about the college, Acupuncture or Chinese Herbal Medicine - and to experience the different types of therapy that we offer the general public through our busy student clinic.
A combination of students and teachers can answer your questions and to show you around the college. Senior students offer free mini treatments if you wish to experience the healing arts of Chinese Medicine.

Treatments available include Acupuncture; Chinese massage (Tuina); cupping (suction cups applied to various parts of the body, to stimulate the system and remove toxins); moxibustion (heated herbs applied to the acupuncture points of the body to energise the system).

Practitioners are usually kept busy all afternoon with the popularity of treatments on offer. Both branches will be holding another 'Wellness day' soon. Once again, this will be an opportunity for people to view the college campuses, ask any questions about career training and to experience the different types of healing therapies offered through the student clinic.
We look forward to seeing you!
