Policy: 2012 Tuition Fee Scholarship - February In-take
Effective: 1 November 2011

Purpose Statement

This policy details the criteria for students wishing to apply for a tuition fee scholarship for the 2012 year and enrolling in either a BHSc programme or Diploma in Chinese Health Studies.

NB: Students who have been referred by an Agent are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Policy

International Students

New Enrolments:
Students must be at least 18 years of age
Students must evidence an overall IELTs level of 6.5 and no less than 6 in any part or equivalent
Students must submit their previous academic record (as evidence of ability) which must satisfy the Selection Committee
Students must enrol and pay the full year’s tuition fees before 10th January 2012

Those meeting the criteria will be granted $3,000.00 for the 2012 academic year

Returning Students:
Students must have achieved an average of ‘B’ in their academic results
Students must enrol and pay the full year’s tuition fees before 10th January 2012

Those meeting the criteria will be granted $3000.00 for the 2012 academic year

Students who pass (but do not average ‘B’) and pay the full year’s tuition fees before the 10th January 2012 will be granted a 10% discount for the 2012 academic year.

Domestic Students

New Enrolments:
Students must meet all entry criteria as outlined in the prospectus
Students must evidence competency in English (if English is the applicant’s second language)
Students must submit their previous academic record (as evidence of ability) which must satisfy the Selection Committee
Students must enrol and pay the full year’s tuition fees before 10th January 2012

Those meeting the criteria will be granted $1000.00 for the 2012 academic year

Returning Students:
Students must have achieved an average of ‘B’ in their academic results
Students must enrol and pay the full year’s tuition fees before 10th January 2012

Those meeting the criteria will be granted $1000.00 for the 2012 academic year

Any student who enrols and pays the full year’s tuition fees before the 10th January will be granted a 5% discount.
