Pathways for Further Study
NZCCM students have the unique opportunity to gain qualifications from International Universities because NZCCM’s training is recognised to be of international quality. Students can automatically cross-credit their NZCCM training towards Bachelors and/or Masters degrees with the following Universities:
Furthermore, students from these Universities can have their study recognised by NZCCM’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme towards the NZCCM Bachelor of Health Science.
NZCCM’s quality education is also recognised by other TCM or Oriental Medicine Colleges and Universities around the world, including South Baylo University,
This is partly because New Zealand belongs to the Lisbon Convention which recognises best practice in tertiary qualifications among 50 member countries, but also because of the unique relationships that NZCCM has with universities.
Special Six Year Master Degree Programme
-NZCCM Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) plus ZCMU or other Chinese Universities Master of Medicine (TCM)
This programme is designed for international students who want to gain registration both in New Zealand and China. Graduates with NZCCM Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) can automatically enrol the Master of TCM or Acupuncture studies at ZCMU or other Chinese universities. With Chinese Master of TCM or Acupuncture degree, graduates can sit a Chinese medical doctor registration exam without further practice.
