Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • The history & philosophy of TCM
  • Knowledge about the human body
  • Causes of Disease
  • Prevention & Principles of Treatment of TCM
  • The theory of four diagnostic method
  • The theory of syndrome differentiation
  • Clinical observation
  • Acupuncture channels & points stage I
  • Training Qigong of Tui Na
    Adult Tui Na
  • Infantile Tui Na

Western Medical Science

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Microbiology & transmission of infectious disease in acupuncture practice.

Professional Development:

  • Ethics
  • Culture
  • Communication


Course description - Last 18 months: Diploma in Tui Na Subjects (181 Credits)

Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Case study stage I
  • Practice of diagnosis
  • Acupuncture channels & points stage II
  • Commonly used diagnostic approaches in Tui Na
  • Introduction of other style massage
  • Clinical observation (continue)
  • Tui Na therapeutics

Western Medical Science

  • Pathology
  • First aids
  • Physical examination

Supervised Clinical Practicum

  • Clinical procedures of safety, disinfections, and sterilization
  • Case studies stage II
  • Diagnosis of TCM
  • Treatment of Tui Na
 

Note:

Graduates of the NZCCM Diploma in Tui Na course may transfer their credits to Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for degree study.
