Excellent academic ability and language environment

The aim of this programme is to produce graduates with knowledge and advanced practical experience that enables them to practice in Chinese Medicine. Students will select courses in the area of Chinese herbal medicine or acupuncture in consultation with NZCCM. The content, assessment and practice components of courses will be aligned with the student’s chosen practice area (Chinese herbal medicine or acupuncture).

 

Master Of Chinese Medicine –Level 9

Graduate Certificate In Chinese Medicine (Tuina Massage) Level 7
Level Duration Credit Next Semester
Level 7 6 months full-time or may be taken part-time. 60 Credits 09 February 2026

Bachelor Of Health Science

Description

Excellent academic ability and language environment

The aim of this programme is to prepare people who hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture or Herbal Medicine or both) or equivalent to extend the scope of their practice in the field of Chinese Medicine (Tuina Massage) and to enable them to work independently, safely, ethically and competently within the Aotearoa New Zealand healthcare environment by integrating both Chinese Medicine diagnostic and treatment skills, especially Tuina Massage with Western Medicine diagnostic skills for the clinical management of various disorders.
