Peter has an MA (HONS) in market geography, a post-grad Diploma in Education (Guidance and Counselling), a Diploma in Teaching, and has completed the papers required to register as an Immigration Advisor. He recently retired having held senior management positions for the past 12 years at the NZ College of Chinese Medicine variously managing Recruitment and Marketing, Operations and most recently Student Services as well at times has chaired the Programme Management Committee and been Registrar. He has a background of some 45 years’ experience in management roles in total in the education sector including in secondary schools, distance education and with tertiary education providers.  This includes holding principal positions at both secondary and tertiary levels and contributing to curriculum development at a national level as a Guidance Advisor. Peter joined the College Council as secretary in February 2024.
