Dr John Sinclair has extensive experience consulting with education providers and central agencies on policy, strategy and regulatory compliance. In 1995 he lived in Harbin, China as a Visiting Fellow at the Heilongjiang Academy of Social Science, courtesy of the Asia Foundation of New Zealand. He assisted the NZ Ministry of Education in negotiating the Wānanga Treaty Settlement in the early 2000s and has worked in the Treasury and in Minister’s offices. He worked on the Commission of Inquiry into Mental Health and has been both an Asia Foundation Fellow and a Churchill Fellow. He has been on the CCM Council for more than a decade.
