Dr Willem Fourie, is currently a professional teaching fellow at the School of Nursing at the University of Auckland.  He is the Chair of the NZCCM, Academic Board and a member of the NZCCM Council. Willem has more than 35 years’ experience in tertiary education of which 25 years is within New Zealand.  Previously, he was Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Studies at Manukau Institute of Technology, leading nursing, counselling, mental health, and foundational studies.  Willem has extensive experience in curriculum design and implementation including as a consultant in the development and approval of the programmes at NZCCM.  He has been a NZQA degree monitor for Wintec and the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine.  He has done auditing work on various nursing programmes for the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
